When I brought Jason home from the shelter, I noticed he wasn't drinking much water.

"Why doesn't he like the tap water," I wondered.

Asking my vet, I learned that all the chemicals put in water to make it "safe" for humans makes ordinary tap water pretty noxious-smelling and tasting for all pets. He added that the chemicals aren't particularly good for anyone — whether on two or four legs.

I started investigating water health, and learned a lot from the EPA's website. You can learn about the water in your area.
